* I jumped the gun on this. A friend of mine found I was tricked. the *112 number is at best a redirect to 911 according to most sources. *
My mom forwarded me an email today, you know how that goes. Email from Moms are usually either pictures of dogs or jokes that sit right on the edge of being edgy (assuming your mom is cool enough not to send inspirational poems). But this one was different. The following story came from that email and while I cannot verify it I can say it is an excellent example of the need for *112 service which I previously didn’t know of.
*112 on a cell phone will put you in touch with local police dispatch.
The *112.
It was about 1:00 p.m. In the afternoon, and Lauren was driving to visit a
friend. An UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put his lights on.
Lauren’s parents have always told her never to pull over for an unmarked
car on the side of the road, but rather to wait until they get to a gas
station, etc.
Lauren had actually listened to her parents advice, and promptly called
*112 on her cell phone to tell the
Police dispatcher that she would not pull over right away. She proceeded
to tell the dispatcher that there was an unmarked police car with a
flashing red light on his rooftop behind her. The dispatcher checked to
see if there were police cars where she was and there weren’t, and he told
her to keep driving, remain calm and that he had back up already on the
way.
Ten minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded her and the unmarked car behind
her. One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car
behind. They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground.
The man was a convicted rapist and wanted for other crimes.
I never knew about the *112 Cell Phone Feature,
But especially for a woman alone in a car, you should not pull over for
an unmarked car. Apparently police have to respect your right to keepgoing
to a safe place.
*Speaking to a service representative at ** Bell ** Mobility confirmed
that*112 was a direct link to State trooperinfo. So, now it’s your turn
to let your friends know about *112.
You may want to Send this to every woman (and man) you know; it may save
a life.
This applies to ALL 50 states

b-b-b-b-but if it’s on the internet, it must be true! Dude, you’d believe anything, even for a second, you get in a forwarded email (even if it is from your mother?) I’ll forward you an email with the details of a lovely bridge that I have for sale in the New York area. You can afford it, what with the millions you’re going to be receiving soon from your wise investment in Nigeria….

I’ve been surfing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me.
Personally, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you
did, the net will be a lot more useful than ever
before.

The French phrase was already closer to mrsa claims. Reschedule vaccines for a time after recovering from colds, flu
or cold-like symptoms and an itchy rash consisting of
fluid-filled blisters that burst and form crusts.
Pregnant women are not highly susceptible to chicken pox due to your increased skin vulnerability and a weakened immune system Tewborn babiesHow can Mrsa Claims be prevented?
He sounds miserable but OK if you know what I mean a week later.
